Faculty of Law at Unissula Sends Off 410 Graduates

The Faculty of Law at Unissula sent off 410 graduates at a faculty senate session held on Thursday (14/9/2023) at the Patra Hotel in Semarang. Those sent off came from the Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, Notary Master's Programme and Doctoral Programme in Law. The farewell ceremony was led by the Chair of the Faculty Senate, Dr Nanang Sri Darmadi SH MH.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr Bambang Tribawono SH MH, said that all of the faculty's study programmes — the Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, Notary Master's Programme and Doctoral Programme in Law — hold the Excellent (Unggul) accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). All of them also hold international accreditation with a Premier rating from the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) in the United Kingdom.
"The Faculty of Law at Unissula occupies an extraordinary position, both nationally and internationally," he explained.
For that reason, the Dean said, graduates of the Faculty of Law are able to compete as they enter the world of work. He also urged graduates always to uphold the good name of their alma mater and to be accountable for their conduct and their profession within society. No less important, he said, is building good networks with fellow alumni.
Graduates of the Faculty of Law are now spread evenly across the country, and some are abroad. A good number of Unissula alumni also come from other countries, such as Pakistan, India, Timor-Leste, the Philippines, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand and others.
Unissula alumni work as police officers, advocates, judges, notaries and land deed officials, members of representative bodies, politicians, employees of private companies, state-owned enterprises and government, as well as entrepreneurs and holders of important posts in other professions.
Also present were the Rector of Unissula, Prof Dr Gunarto SH MH; the Chair of the Faculty of Law Alumni Association, Dr Hery Wiyanto; senate members; lecturers; and students' parents.
The Chair of the Faculty of Law Alumni Association, Dr Heri Wiyanto SH MH, delivered an address congratulating the graduates and welcoming them as alumni of the Faculty of Law at Unissula. He expressed the hope that all alumni would serve the country and never forget where they came from.
