Field Study Visit by Notary Master's Programme Students of Universitas Islam Sultan Agung in Jakarta

The first visit was to the Attorney General's Office in Jakarta. Seventy-four students of the Notary Master's Programme at the Faculty of Law took an active part in a discussion covering key points focused on criminal matters relating to notaries and land deed officials. After the visit to the Attorney General's Office, the group continued to the Central Board of the Association of Land Deed Officials, where the students engaged actively in discussion of the law governing notaries and land deed officials, civil law, criminal law, professional ethics and land deeds, held in a hotel meeting room and over a coffee break.

On Wednesday, 1 February 2023, the Notary Master's Programme continued its field study at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. Enthusiasm for the visit was evident in the warm discussion session.

After visiting the three field study locations, the students of the Notary Master's Programme took a short break at one of Jakarta's shopping centres.

The results of the field study will be compiled into teaching material for the semester learning plan.

"Through this field study we hope students will become better acquainted with government institutions and agencies, see them at first hand and understand them. Students can also gain a direct understanding of the principal duties, functions and workflow of those institutions."
