This Wednesday, Kyai Anwar Zahid and Habib Bidin to Lead the Faculty of Law's Sholawat Gathering

The Faculty of Law at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung will hold its Sholawat gathering on Wednesday (13/5/2026) from 19.30. The event will take place in the Unissula Campus Auditorium and is open to the general public.

The gathering is held in gratitude for the 63rd anniversary of the Faculty of Law. Besides being an annual religious event, it is also a means of strengthening Islamic brotherhood and deepening love for the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, both on campus and in the wider community.

The recitation will be led by Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin together with the Az Zahir hadroh group, while the religious address will be delivered by KH Anwar Zahid, known for his distinctive, engaging and humorous style of preaching.

The organising committee said the Sholawat gathering is an annual tradition consistently held by Unissula as part of strengthening Islamic values within the academic environment.

More than that, the event is also an opportunity for the public to become better acquainted with the Unissula campus, which is currently accepting new student applications. Members of the public are invited to attend and to see for themselves a campus with modern educational infrastructure, among the best in Semarang. Through this event, Unissula hopes to create a serene religious atmosphere while strengthening the bond between the campus and the wider community.
